Our Mission
•
Our mission was to inspire youth to expand their horizons and fulfill their potential. Adventures believed that a significant breakthrough occurs when a talented teen is mentored by an accomplished adult. This can happen in a minute—or over a lifetime—but the results are the same: passions are reignited, horizons expanded and a new world is opened up to our 15-18 year old scholars.
Our Mentors

Our mentors included astronauts, artists, athletes, economists, entrepreneurs, inventors, journalists, MacArthur geniuses, Nobel laureates, public servants, Pulitzer prizewinning writers, tech titans, scientists, scholars and more. There was no other student program like Adventures where a teen could go from having breakfast with an astronaut, to finishing the day by playing chess with a champion.
Our Impact

We made a difference in the lives of young people by introducing them to a unique combination of ideas and individuals at a critical time in their lives—just before they have finalized their post-high school plans. This was especially true for high potential students who traditionally were overlooked because they lacked the grades and test scores necessary to be noticed.
